Week Two Assignment

Good morning,

Thanks to everyone who sent their week one assignments in for feedback, the ones I received were very well done. For this week, I am asking every student to keep a journal with at least four entries. Each entry should be half a page to one page long. You can write about anything you would like to tell me about. 

If you need some more ideas, you can answer some of the following questions:

How have you been keeping busy?

What has been difficult for you in the past few weeks?

Has anything exciting happened for you in the last few weeks?

What are you most looking forward to?

Do you miss school? Why or why not?

How are you feeling about home learning?

You can answer any of these questions, or none of them. If you have other ideas to write about, that's perfectly fine. This is a great chance to practice your writing skills. I look forward to reading your assignments. You can email me for feedback at katerina.longo@nbed.nb.ca

Week One Assignment

Ethos, Pathos and Logos

Hello, everyone, I hope you are all doing well and staying safe. This week you are to find ten examples of ethos, pathos and logos through ads you see, movies or shows you watch, or things you read. I would like you to write up each example with 2-3 sentences explaining the example and how it is an example of ethos, pathos, or logos. I have included a reminder of the definitions of each term for those of you that do not remember.
