Please note that there is no school for students on Monday, January 26th and Tuesday, January 27th with Semester Two beginning on Wednesday, January 28th.
A reminder that next week (January 19th to January 23rd) is Exam/Assessment Week. All students are expected to be in attendance (AM only) during this Assessment Week as each course is expected to have some form of assessment or work. Exams will begin at 8:45 AM and end at 11:00 AM. Students may leave at 10:30 AM if they finish their exam.
Exams will commence with Period 1 on Monday, Period 2 on Tuesday, Period 3 on Wednesday, Period 4 on Thursday and Period 6 on Friday.
The staff at SSHS would like to wish all students and parents a Happy New Year! A reminder to all students and parents that the first day back for students is Tuesday, January 6th.
This Friday, January 2 and Saturday, January 3 the Sugarloaf Senior High School Bruins will host their annual Bear Attack basketball tournament.
Teams participating are: SSHS, Dalhousie Regional High School, Ecole Secondaire Nepisiguit Rebelles of Bathurst, Southern Victoria High School of Perth-Andover, the Bathurst High School Phantoms and the JMA Armstrong Cougars of Salisbury.
Friday morning game begin at 10:30 game between the Bruins and the Condors with games all day. SSHS plays its second game of the round-robin at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
Come and see what talent SSHS has to offer! Free Admission and located in the School Cafetorium. Dancing, singing, bands, and an international touch and flavour.
SSHS Talent Show - Monday - November 24th - 6:00 - 8:00 PM
The school has been equiped with a "NEW" Intercom System at the Front Entry Door. The building will be locked and secured after 8:30 AM.Please ensure that you use the intercom to gain entry into the builidng. Students that arrive after 8:30 AM will be asked to report to the office with a valid excuse for being Late.
