The school has been equiped with a "NEW" Intercom System at the Front Entry Door. The building will be locked and secured after 8:30 AM.Please ensure that you use the intercom to gain entry into the builidng. Students that arrive after 8:30 AM will be asked to report to the office with a valid excuse for being Late.

SSHS will have an open house for all Grade 9 – 12 Parents/Guardians on September 9th, 2015. The event will take place from 5:00 to 6:30PM, with a BBQ from 5:00 - 5:30.

Dear Parents /Guardians,As you are aware, the safety of your children, our students, is of the utmost importance to us and this includes safe transportation to and from school. The amount of requests schools receive to place students on different school busses is a great concern. This becomes difficult for administration to monitor as large numbers of alternate bus passes are being issued. Young students are often unsure where they are supposed to go and many may be unfamiliar to bus drivers.You have already provided the school with one alternate bus stop and we are able to accommodate this.
Just a reminder to students that school on Tuesday, September 2nd is for Grade 9 students ONLY as "BOOMERANG" activities will be organized by our student leader group "LINK CREW" for the Grade 9 transition to high school. Wednesday, September 3rd, will be school for all students in Grades 9, 10, 11, 12. We hope you enjoy the remainder of the summer and we look forward to welcoming you back for the 2014-2015 School Year.
Just a note to all Grade 9,10 & 11 Students that your report cards can be picked anytime between 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM in the front lobby at SSHS on Friday, June 20th. A note, all outstanding fee's and books must be returned before report cards are to be distributed.Report Cards will not be mailed and must be picked up at the school.On behalf of the staff at SSHS, please have a Safe Summer and we will see you in September!
