The Boys and Girls Soccer teams will be holding their evaluation camps for boys and girls in grades 9-12. The camps will take place at the Rotary Field behind SSHS on the following dates:
Boys Team - August 26, 27, and 28 from 3:30 - 5:00 PM.

Just a reminder to students that school on Tuesday, September 2nd is for Grade 9 students ONLY as "BOOMERANG" activities will be organized by our student leader group "LINK CREW" for the Grade 9 transition to high school.
Wednesday, September 3rd, will be school for all students in Grades 9, 10, 11, 12.

Sugarloaf finished
in 2nd in their pool and 4th overall in the North East Regionals. They
advance to the Provincials thisweekend, May 17/18 at JMA Armstrong School
in Salisbury where the top 8 teams in the province will battle it out for the
provincial title. Other teams advancing from the North East are LJR, MFR
and Bathurst.
This
marks the first time in the school's history that a Senior Boys Volleyball team
has advanced to the Provincials. After a hiatus of 17 years SSHS
revived the boys volleyball program 4 years ago.Congrats!
On Tuesday, April 16, 2013, Sugarloaf Senior High School had
a school level oratorical competition.
The students who participated in the event were Emily Sears (1st
place winner), RosaLee Noel (2nd place winner), Aditya Vinod, and
Kaila Roherty. The competition was
headed and organized by Heather White, an English Teacher at Sugarloaf Senior
High School. The judges were Ora Watson,
James Day, and Mike Logan, all retired teachers from the area.
