Here is a photo of John and his father, Gerald.  This year, as with the past 12, Sugarloaf and every other Anglophone and Francophone school in the Restigouche Region had the opportunity to celebrate a student’s academic turnaround at the Turn Around Achievement gala held at the Campbellton Memorial Civic Center. This is a major event, one we are extremely proud of and it was held on the evening of May 7th, 2013. The winner of the award for the 2012-2013 School year is John Michael Vicaire.The intent of this initiative is to recognize an individual student who’s educational career was rocky at best but through supports, interventions and perhaps just a little maturity was turned into something good/positive.Congratulations John, and SSHS is proud of you!
