Graduating Class of 2020!!

We are pleased to announce our Graduation Plans for the Class of 2020! Following the guidelines of the Chief Medical Office and the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, we developed a plan that will honour our 67 Graduates! We have been working on this plan for the past few weeks and they have been approved.

SSHS will be having a Parade of Graduates!! On Monday, June 15th, Mr. O’Toole and Mr. Ryan will be delivering your Diplomas via the SSHS Bus directly to you at your home. SSHS Staff will be participating in this parade and we will be supported by the local agencies (police/fire) to guide us through each community!

You will receive your Diploma, your Grad Hat, Tassel and some other surprises for each Grad. In the next few weeks, we will be posting our route that will take us to each community. We would ask that you check the schedule to make sure that you are present and home when we are in your community.

As we arrive at each home, we will be respecting the Guidelines laid out by the Chief Medical Office.

Also on Thursday, June 18th at 7:00 PM we will be having our Virtual Ceremony that will be posted to YouTube. Each Graduate will be able to watch the ceremony from your home as we will honour each graduate.

More details will be coming, but we wanted to let you know of our plans.

There will be no Proms this year as directed by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, however there is a virtual prom event happening across Canada this Friday, May 22nd. You may want to watch and graduates may want to participate.
