100 Years of Loss Exhibit

Posted: May 9, 2017

On Wednesday, May 10th, we are pleased to have an Open House to the public to come to SSHS from 6:30 - 8:00 PM to view the 100 Years of Loss Exhibit, a National Exhibit that displays and provides a historical framework for the effects of the Residential Schools. From the early 1830s to 1996, thousands of First Nation, Inuit, and Métis children, some as young as four years old, were forced to attend Residential Schools. This exhibit is open to the Public.
